Can lifestyle-driven diseases be prevented? This presentation reviews influences on our wellbeing, highlights the science on health and happiness, and includes practical tips for a life of better health and wellbeing. Iris Schrijver is a certified lifestyle medicine physician. She is an adjunct clinical professor of pathology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She currently practices lifestyle medicine at Clackamas Free Clinic. She has published several research articles along with books, including “Living With the Stars” (a popular science book, written together with her husband, an astrophysicist).
