Long-time HGP member Jeff Strang is planning to change his first name to God when his mother dies (if he did it before, it would kill her!). This is a double-edged sword: on the one hand, the jokes write themselves and it gives great name recognition. On the other, it could offend many people and open him up to serious attacks. But on balance, he feels the power of this assertion of atheists’ rights and recognition in society is worth it. This presentation will involve much discussion.
