About This Program
Over Zoom. Gordon Gamm, a lawyer who has represented most of the major humanist organizations in the United States in state and federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court, will discuss why authoritarianism is found attractive by some people, as described in his article in the Spring 2026 humanist magazine at this link: https://thehumanist.com/magazine/spring-2026/features/faith-authority-and-the-lure-of-certainty. He may also address Supreme Court reform. (First Sundays start with 1/2 hour of music, offer childcare, and may run until noon.)
