From FH. Whole body donors play a vital role in training future and practicing healthcare professionals, while also supporting scientific discovery and innovation. Tamara Ostervoss, director of the OHSU Body Donation Program and nationally recognized leader in the field, will describe the donation process, donor eligibility considerations, and the ethical standards that guide the respectful care and use of donated bodies. She will also address common questions and misconceptions, explain how donor gifts directly impact healthcare outcomes, and outline the program's commitment to honoring donors and supporting their families.
