Affirms the inherent dignity and worth of every human being;
Encourages the use of science, reason, and free inquiry;
Promotes ethical principles and social compassion to enhance the quality of life.

Membership in Humanists of Greater Portland is open to anyone who agrees with its basic philosophy and who intends to provide the chapter with either financial or personal support in pursuing its purposes.

All payments are tax deductible donations. There is no required minimum, pay what you can afford.

We suggest the following:

Individual membership: from $50 to $250
Joint membership: from $90 to $300
If you are on a limited income: pay only what you can afford.
